final fight for 5 year olds...or is it?

I dunno. the gameplay seems really simplistic. you move your finger on the left side of the screen and tap the right side to attack.
the game feels really easy. granted, im an adult and i have played some of the ost difficult games around.
given that, Im completely stumped by this game, right at the beginning.
the guy tells me "take this bomb and use it to blow up the rocks in the forest" and theres no sound effect, no animation, nothing indicating that i actually "received" a "bomb". I look in my items, theres no bomb in there. I go in the forest and reach the spot where i need to put the bomb, clearly indicated by a cirlce with an arrow pointing to it. I go there, and i cant "put the bomb" there. i tried standing in the middle and tapping, and he just punches. i swipe, and he does the slide kick move. i swipe up and nothing happens, i tried tapping and holding my finger on the screen, nothing happens. I tried looking in my items, i dont see a "bomb" anywhere.
theres no explanation on how to "use the bomb" so Im stuck before the game even started....

real platinum god 1001% on binding of isaac rebirth and i cant even figure out how to ise the bomb to advance in this game.

then i abort the mission, go back to the base, thinking i missed some detail, i accept the quest again, go back in and ...the game crashes.

Ipad Air 2, game crashes, final nail in the coffin. the ads dont bother me because i played it offline so i had no ads...unless maybe they intended for me to watch an ad to get the bomb? i dunno, but im not watching mandatory ads just to progress through the game, i dont care that its free. I buy "real" games. Cartoon Network is getting really disgusting with their freemium crap, especially the adventure time game they charge $4 for it and then you buy it and its a freemium energy model.
